Every day is Earth Day.
Earth Day is a time of reflection on what has been done to the environment and the responsibility that each individual has to rationally use natural resources.
Use the day to think about what actions can help preserve the Earth and which are accelerating their degradation.
Take this time to do something good for the planet earth mother, like planting a seedling, to call friends to help collect the garbage from the square or park that you go to put trash cans near the rivers to prevent waste in streams and much more can be done. The important thing is getting the message of the importance of taking care of our planet, anyway this is our home.
We mark this day as the beginning of a change, one among many that have to do. Don’t we remember that the Earth is our planet and we need to take care of it only today, let’s make Earth Day every day.
The preservation of the environment is an urgent need, with each individual share of responsibility.
Simple actions make the difference in the current context.
And remember: You’re part of it.
On Earth Song Michael warms us and makes us wonder what we are doing to the Planet Earth.
“I respect the secrets and magic of nature. That’s why it makes me so angry when I see these things that are happening in the world: that every second I hear the size of a football field is torn down in the Amazon. That kind of stuff really bothers me. That’s why I write these kinds of songs you know, to get some sense of awareness and awakening and hope to people.
I love – I love the planet. I love trees – I have this thing for trees and the color and changing of leaves…I LOVE it! I respect those kind of things. I really feel that nature is trying to compensate for man’s mismanagement of the planet. The planet is sick – like a fever! If we don’t fix it now its at the point of no return. This is our last chance to fix this problem that we have or its like a runaway train.
The time has come, “This is It”. People are always saying: “Oh they- they’ll take care of it.” “The government will d-they’ll” They who? It starts with us. US. Or else it’ll never be done.”
